Is your firm actually ready for AI?

A structured diagnostic across the four things that decide whether AI investment pays off: strategy clarity, data and stack readiness, team capability, risk and compliance. Returns a Readiness Score, a 4-dimension breakdown, and the single thing to fix first.

How the score works

Four dimensions. One verdict.

D01

Strategy clarity

Do you know WHY you want AI? Are the business outcomes defined? Is the leadership team aligned on what "ready" looks like? Without strategy clarity, every other dimension is rate-limited.

D02

Data + stack readiness

Is your data clean and accessible? Are your existing systems (CRM, accounting, document store) something AI can actually plug into? Or is the foundation a mess that no model will fix?

D03

Team capability

Will the people who'll actually use the workflow accept it, learn it, and integrate it? AI projects fail at adoption far more often than at technology.

D04

Risk + compliance

For regulated industries (financial advice, accounting, legal, health) and any business handling sensitive data, AI use intersects with Privacy Act, sector-specific rules, and professional standards. Where you sit on this dimension can be the difference between a 6-week and a 6-month engagement.

Common questions

What this tool is, and isn't.

Is the score scientific?

No. It's a structured, judgment-based diagnostic built from Coupland's view of what predicts a successful AI engagement. It's orientation, not measurement. The real call is a 30-minute conversation.

Do you store my answers?

No. The check runs entirely in your browser. Nothing is sent anywhere. The shareable URL at the end encodes your answers as a hash, so the result lives in the link itself.

What does a low score mean?

It means "not yet ready," not "never." A low score usually points to one or two specific bottlenecks (data hygiene, leadership alignment, team capacity). Fix those first, then AI is worth attempting. Plenty of clients we work with started here.

What if my industry is regulated?

That's where the Risk dimension does a lot of work. Regulated industries (financial advice, accounting, legal) have specific rules about AI use, data residency, disclosure, and supervision. Craig's CFP and FAP-licensed firm background means we speak that language fluently.

What happens after I finish?

You see your score, four dimension breakdowns, three prioritised actions, and a link to book a free 30-minute discovery call. The call is the conversation; the tool is the warm-up.
